Life has been prettty interesting the last few years. I’ve lived in an RV in the Tennessee mountains for almost 2 years and worked through a pandemic as an ER nurse. Man! I have grown so much through it all.
Every struggle throughout life has now become a strength and chance to learn.
The most recent lesson I’ve learned: DON’T let yourself burnout; Don’t lose your fire.
What made me want to blog?
Realizing how mentally burnt out I have started becoming again, I started looking for some self-advice from my journals. In one of these, I had written about wanting to start a personal blog to help others on a mental health journey.
Reading these entries really inspired me to want to reach out and help other people avoid this mental burnout I have experienced so many times. I have been dreaming of starting a personal blog for years and now is the time to take action and invest in myself. You are always worth investing in yourself, right?
Why now?
I have wanted to start a blog about mental health and things I have learned that improved my own for years now but have been too afraid.
Writing has been an outlet for me for as long as I can remember. A lot of my entries were a way to “talk to myself” like I am to you right now! I had been blogging to myself this entire time! I decided there is no time like to present to start sharing my experiences and personal advice to help you improve your mental health and prevent you from experiencing mental burnout.
What to expect
I am here to share my advice on avoiding mental burnout, improving the way you think of yourself, share my self-care tips, and most importantly, interact with my readers about the hard things in life. There will be frequent journal prompts, affirmations, self-care tips and tricks, personal experiences to show you that you are not alone, and so much more! I am so excited that you are joining me on this journey of self-discovery!
Want to learn to love yourself more? Gain a better sense of who you are? Improve your overall mental space? Learn to improve your self-care and habits? Interact with others that struggle with mental health disorders? Read real-life experiences and learn how to grow from them?
Then you have found the right place!
